My site comes up when you google Highlands Fellowship. How awesome. Check out this page too where some people were bashing Highlands. I told Tracie about it and I guess she told Jimmie and he went on there and made some comments.

Fun in target!
Last night among other activities, we had a blast in our new target store. While my wife and son went into Target I was driving around Tyra in the car so she would not cry and hopefully go to sleep. While driving I ran into (not literally) Darren and Anna. After a conversation with me being in the van and them on the outside, we decided to get out and walk to target to see Luke and Alisha.
We went to the store and found them. While walking we heard this crazy noise. Someone had run over a black item in the main aisle and quacked like a duck. Well I had to go find out what it was. I went over and picked it up. It was a rubber football for a pet and when you squeezed it, it quacked like a duck.
We proceeded to walk around the store quacking at people and enjoying their reactions. We decided we had to buy it. We took it to Old Navy and TJ maxx as well. One lady freaked out and lifted her foot up suddenly and looked back to see if she stepped on something. An Old Navy employee almost killed himself ducking out of the way after I let a big quake go as we passed.
I realize this is not very exciting on a blog to read, but I know Anna and Darren will enjoy reading this. I don’t have many blog readers, so I have to keep those readers I do have satisfied. So here’s a big shout out to Anna B and Darren B!
Prayer Request
Please pray for David Morrison. Lesa (David’s husband) is on staff @ Highlands. David had a bad motorcycle accident today. I don’t know any details except for he has been med-flighted to Charlotte. I will update as info comes.
UPDATE* 9/13 11:14 pm
David got out of surgery and is in critical & unstable condition. Had surgery on his head and brain, has broken bones, punctured lung. Please continue to pray for this family.

- -> 3 little birds (by Bob Marley) Coolest moment of the night
- Wasting Time
- Encore: Ants Marching
One of the coolest moments of the night was 3 little birds. The band jammed forever on it singing “Don’t worry about a thing, every little thing, is gonna be alright” The band and dave eventually faded out leaving the stadium singing and clapping. The whole place was singing everything is gonna be alright. Pretty awesome moment after what happened with the shooting there.
Two other notables of the night:
- The awesome oneness of this huge diverse stadium. I saw every race imaginable and they were all united for one purpose. Church could take a lesson from that. Read this post that I enjoyed that relates to this. Rather than going off on the same thing I thought you could just read his post.
- DMB played for 3 hours and 20 minutes. NON STOP! Gotta love that!
Known for outreach
Read this post over at Tim Steven’s Blog
“…the church, known for its outreach into the community and nontraditional ministry approaches, plans a mass baptism ceremony at the home of the Silver Hawks.”
What a great way for a church to be described, “known for its outreach into the community”.
