Take for Granted

Yesterday’s Staff meeting made me think about something.

What do I take for granted. I realized in staff that I sometimes take prayer for granted. I ask things and forget to think about them and sometimes I ask with doubt that it will happen without believing God will do it. So I started thinking about what else I take for granted.

  • Prayer - I pray a lot, but need to change my focus more often
  • Holy Spirit - If I was aware of him every second of my life, what more could I accomplish?
  • Wife (who is amazing)
  • Kids (I know everyone says this, but I really do have the coolest kids in the world)
  • Mom and Grandparents - they have always been there for me and my family
  • My job - I have the greatest job in the world
  • Wealth - this one’s kind of funny, because we are no where near rich according to most standards. But I don’t know many people my age with a house and all our stuff. Plus not to mention wealth of the other type (family, love, grace, etc)
