I’m proud to announce that the Lemons family is finally done with high chairs! WHOO HOOO! ok, maybe more like whoo hooo. Because it’s not as exciting as the day will be when we announce we are done with diapers. We have lived with diapers being a daily part of our lives now for almost 8 years. That will be an exciting day. Until that day comes enjoy some pics of my kids in high chairs. Mia’s pics are somewhere else. Maybe I will find a couple of them.

Fun with Jesus
My wife just called me to say that Tyra is going around the house crying and screaming, “I can’t find Jesus!”
We have a little Bible Action Heroes Jesus action figure.

Other funny quotes with Jesus Action Figure:
- Alisha said, “She really loves Jesus!”
- Alisha said, “Everytime she plays with her pony, she always has Jesus”
- Alisha said when getting off phone, “Pray I find Jesus!”
- Tyra said, “Luke hurt Jesus!”
- Tim said, “Pick Jesus up and put him on the table”
Feel free to add your own quotes below and stay tuned for more quotes to come!
Last night Alisha and I went to the Dave Matthews Band Concert at the Cynthia Woods Pavillion in The Woodlands outside of Houston, TX. Awesome show! Played for 2.5 hours. Tim Reynolds was with them however LeRoi Moore was not there and neither was Butch Taylor.

Sources say that Johnny Depp might play the Riddler in the next Dark Knight. As well as Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin and Angelina Jolie as Catwoman.
I thought it would be hard to top Heath Ledger as the Joker, if they bring in all those peeps, it could be possible.

We are Family
My Mom created this video. She is quite proud. I figured I’d post it so others can see. Enjoy the wide selection of music and the colorful images the last 2 minutes. ;) It’s ok mom, it’s your first video! At least you are making stuff. Now you just need to get a mac and take it to a ‘whole notha level’!

My own ManBaby
The other day I posted about manbabies.com. JR saw it and made one and emailed it to me. Thought I’d share it!
Peyton just showed me that pictures of our game room is on Little Mountain Productions website. Go here and then scroll over to the 7th picture from the left (number #38) all the way to number 30. I decided to go and put them up here as well.
I had the opportunity to go to Innovative Impact to hear Mark Batterson speak. Andy and I went just to hear Mark. Andy got us in for free since he used to work there. I got to meet Mark and he signed a book for me.

Here are the unedited notes I took.
- Your legacy is not your church - it’s your family!
- 2 Samuel 23:20-22
- Dream God sized dreams - God is so much bigger than our wildest dreams
- I don’t want to live my life to the best I can live my life. I want to live my life to the best that God can do through my life.
- The best I can do is the best God can do
- I don’t want things to happen in my life that I am capable of.
- I want to do things that only God is capable of, then I can’t still any of the credit.
- I pray for the favor of God.
- I pray for the favor of God on my family, my church
- I wish I could forget some of the Bible - we suffer from hindsight bias - we know how the stories end - we know when the men are walking around the walls of Jericho that the walls come tumbling down - imagine watching that story unfold not knowing the end - DRAMA - David and Goliath, Peter walking on water, etc
- Action regret - doing something you wish you had not done - short term regret
- Inaction regret - not doing something you should have done - long term regret
- Therefore our biggest regrets at the end of our lives will be the lions we did not chase
- What breaks our heart more as parents - r u happy when they don’t do something wrong or more happy when they do something great?
- God has called us to play offense not defense
- Stop being not doers -
- I’m competitive - I don’t even like losing candyland to my kids
- WOW - story of coaching kids on the side yelling we are on offense - wonder if Jesus is yelling at us… We’re on Offense
- we are known more for what we are against than what we are for!
- had a 533% growth in one week, the prior week was just his family because of huge blizzard
- You do little things like they are big things
- Coffeehouses are today’s modern wells!
- The only thing better would have been if the architect had designed a fireman’s pole to the coffeehouse
- When do you feel like a failure as a parent - when you react to your kids instead of act and create the vision
- I refuse to sacrifice my family on the alter of ministry
- I am fasting yelling for Lent
- Physical, intellectual, spiritual challenges for his son!
- I am going to play offense with my family
- You’ve made a few more trips around the sun than I have had - nice way of saying your old
- I’m grateful that I have a heavenly that tag-teams with me as an earthly father
- Are you playing offense spiritually?
- How many would say, I’m just being honest I prayed too much last year, I read the Bible too much last year
- Dream God sized dreams for one reason - they force you to stay on your knees with Him.
- Pray ridiculous prayers!
- Coffeehouse
- Matthew 18:18 - is the only explanation of why they have coffeehouse
- May 26, 2005 most memorable day of my life - Ethiopia National Park - Game Drive - what an amazing creator God is - that night around a campfire singing worship songs - What if sarah hadn’t faced her fears - the memories, the stories would have gone untold - she was pooped on by a baboon - only bad thing - but it was awesome
- Don’t accumulate possessions accumulate stories!
- What were bedtime stories like at Beniah’s time? Hey dad tell us that lion chasing story again!
Thoughts so far
- The design is just incredible. Branding everywhere. The Source (there bookstore) is incredible. They have their own clothing line complete with their own cool tags (I’ll try to get a pic today)
- Sidenote - I recently changed to an electric razor… my face and I aren’t getting along right now.
- Crazy Excitement level. Everyone on stage are professionals. Everyone on stage seemed to be having the time of their life!
- I’m excited about meeting Ken Wilson for the first time.
That’s enough for now. I plan on taking a ton of notes today. Terry… these pics are for you!

Missing my family.
Here are some pics I took right when I left Abingdon. I miss them all terribly. I can’t wait to see them again.
Today was 80’s Day
Today was a fun day in the Edge.
We are doing a sermon series called generations. Last week was the 70’s, this week was the 80’s.
The volunteers dressed up for this great day! It was awesome.
It’s a shame you can’t see Amy’s hair because her hair blends in. It was schweet!
I think noonie’s was the best though, he even did the side part with the spike.
Man the memories…
You are Everybody!
Saw this and thought it was hilarious. Erinn P sent this to me. Her brother Erick said it was on crutchfield like this.
Only lost fans will thank this is cool.

My friend Blake “Cat-Daddy” Cooke uploaded pics he took while at festival of life. Check em out here.
