Lost Notes – Spoiler Alert

Tim Lemons —  February 19, 2009 — 3 Comments

Ok. Lost was freakin awesome last night! If you haven’t seen last nights episode “316” then don’t read this!

  • Ok. First off I joked with my friends while watching Lost, “Now Kate has to sleep with Jack because there has to be a pregnant lady on the flight”. Well turns out… I was right!
  • Then-Hurley had to bring a guitar? Was Hurley also on Crack? j/k
  • Then Sayid shows up – did someone have to be in handcuffs?
  • Then the Pilot – who was related to the previous pilot because He knew the sunken plane was a phoney because the pilot wasn’t wearing a wedding ring.
  • In the preview for next week it showed Locke hanging himself and Ben was there-such a liar!
  • I thought it was kind of stupid that Jack didn’t want to open the letter. I mean come on – the man wrote a letter to him before dying and Jack is getting ready to go on an important “mission” and he doesn’t think he should read the letter? That was pretty stupid! I know why they did it. To show that Jack feels bad about leaving the island – but still.

Wow. Any other observations/comments/theories please post below!

I went with my friend Matt to see Dave Matthews in Dallas a few months ago and had an awesome time.  Matt works at Watermark. I got to go on the behind the scenes tour and see the whole church. I was impressed by the design and the functionality of the church. Also it was my first skyscraper church to visit. Pretty cool layout!

Anyways, go to my flickr set to see pics from my trip to Watermark!

I am excited about this new technology.  Imagine creating one for a youth service where students can instantly ask their questions from their cell phones. Go ahead add a message of your own. I have to approve it first, but send a txt message to 25622 start with @timlem then enter your message.

Found this article on Twitter etiquette and thought I would share it.  Some of my favorite quotes:

10. Try to keep within the character limit.

13. Plug moderately.

Now, you already have a phone, an email account, a blog—but what about the moments too small to blog? (Snacking on pretzels.) Too insignificant to email? (The twisty kind of pretzels.) They’re happening every second! How can you share the moments between the moments worthy of note? Enter Twitter.

I’m excited about our church’s new website.  Check it out here.

Creativity

Saw this and thought it was…interestingly creative.  What do you think?

Everett just emailed me about a new search engine called Viewzi.  The idea is instead of being presented with a list and clicking an item only to see it is not what you wanted and then have to go back to the list.  This shows you screenshots of what your results are.  Watch the 101 video for the idea behind it.  It could be cool… not sure I like the cosmetics of it though.

Ken's Yes and No

It’s no secret that I love reading Ken’s Blog. Even though I am way behind in my blog reader (currently trying out google reader instead of bloglines, I’ll let ya know what I think when I’m done evaluating) I always stay up to date with Ken’s blog.  He has a feature he does called Yes and No.  I ran across this today and thought it was awesome! In my book it would definitely be a yes. Check it out!

Hulu Rocks

Just in case you haven’t heard of it. Hulu.com is a site where you can watch tons of free shows and movies. All legit. They are having their “days of summer” where they will be releasing new stuff every day for summer. See below to see what it is.

I haven’t blogged in a while because I’ve been working on some other blogs.  We started 2 blogs for Student ministry, one for parents and one for volunteers.  I also decided to start one for our worship/tech arts team.  So once I am finished with those, it’ll be on again.  As much “on” as I’ve ever done before at least.  Everyone makes fun of me for mostly twittering instead of blogging. I can’t help it, twitter is so simple.
