A Day in the Life of a Lemon

Watched this video recently and just felt like I needed to share it.  I know so many people who say they are “Christians” but do not live like it.  I wish everyone could understand how awesome is it to really LOVE JESUS simply because you KNOW how much HE LOVES YOU.  

So if your reading this and you think is my faith real or am I walking with Jesus then watch this video and ask yourself if you could respond like this in a situation like this.  This is the story of Zac Smith from NewSpring Church in South Carolina and how he is doing with his battle with cancer.  grab a tissue

What if we all lived like this? I don’t mean in Memphis in crack houses or in the middle of a jungle with the longest civil war in history. I mean what if we were so in love with God that we would go anywhere, do anything, at anytime for Him without fear of judgement from others or fear of losing our lives? I watched this video and just sat weeping.  I challenge you to watch this video; all of it. Then pray to God a dangerous prayer.  Pray Isaiah 6:8, “Here I am. Send me.” Tell Him you’ll be the one He can ask when ____________ (fill in the blank)

Shaun King pastor of Courageous Church in Atlanta has been asking for donations on twitter/facebook for their big give to raise 290 school uniforms and a present for every kid at a school in Atlanta. They accomplished that mission. Read about it here and watch it below:

Man I cried like a baby when they opened the gifts! So glad I got to participate in that. I didn’t give much – but look at what God can do when a few people give a very little. I don’t regret sending $10 bucks, but perhaps you regret not sending something? I say that to encourage you to give, not to make you feel bad. Next time your faced with an opportunity to give don’t hold back and end up regretting it!

Yes you have made a mistake at some point in your life. People of the Second Chance is all about grace and forgiveness.  Take for example Michael Vick.  What is your first thought of him when you hear his name? Do you want him to succeed in the NFL or because he made a stupid choice he should not succeed at anything?

We as Christians are supposed to be Christ like. That’s what we do we should do.  Christ forgave. PERIOD!  He is the one true Judge knowing our motives when we do things.  Yet He forgives.  Jesus said “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35 NIV)  Do you do more loving or more judging?
