I’m proud to announce that the Lemons family is finally done with high chairs! WHOO HOOO! ok, maybe more like whoo hooo. Because it’s not as exciting as the day will be when we announce we are done with diapers. We have lived with diapers being a daily part of our lives now for almost 8 years. That will be an exciting day. Until that day comes enjoy some pics of my kids in high chairs. Mia’s pics are somewhere else. Maybe I will find a couple of them.

Found this article on Twitter etiquette and thought I would share it. Some of my favorite quotes:
10. Try to keep within the character limit.
13. Plug moderately.
Now, you already have a phone, an email account, a blog—but what about the moments too small to blog? (Snacking on pretzels.) Too insignificant to email? (The twisty kind of pretzels.) They’re happening every second! How can you share the moments between the moments worthy of note? Enter Twitter.
Sharing Life Together
So tonight was crazy @ our house. I had myself convinced my wife and daughter were dead/kidnapped/broken down who knows what. The video below pretty much tells the story. I would just like to add that it’s crazy how when you love somebody so much and how much you can worry about them. I kept praying God I know your in control and I trust you, but please just give me something, I can’t stand not knowing.
Anyways. Enjoy the video. Remember this was shot @ 12:00 am and we just had a really long week and weekend are totally exhausted. So while right now I am thinking it is hilarious. Tomorrow I may not find it so hilarious!

- Went to Dave Matthews concert @ 7ish. It was an amazing show.
- Left Dallas around 2 am – got to Houston @ 6 am
- Went to church @ 7 am – Truth band was playing in Route 56
- After church had King of the Beach draft
- Then rehearsal
- Then King of the Beach
So I was up for 37 hours straight. Been a long time since I’ve done that. It was totally worth it! Two nights of back to back Dave shows.
High School Reunion Class of 1998
So my class reunion is coming up soon. It is awesome that that it is the weekend before a wedding in Virginia I am going to so I will be in town. Couple of my closest friends are getting married September 20th. The reunion is the weekend before. When I got the invite there was a site we could go to and it had some pictures. Thought I would share one of me, as well as one I carry with me to show people for shock factor. So enjoy a laugh at my expense.

Twitter – What's The Point
**UPDATE** Here is another example of Twitters Awesomeness!
I twitter. I love it. You would love it. Follow me on twitter here.
I get asked all the time, “What’s the point of twitter?” Here we go. 4 reasons
- Friends/Family – Since I have recently moved across the country twitter is a great way for me to stay in touch with my friends and family from Virginia and my new friends here in Texas. Also every day twitter sends all my “twit’s” for the day to my blog. My family and friends can see what I have been up to.
- Archiving my life – I have 3 kids. I wish I had twitter when my first 2 were younger. I can twitter things my kids do and will be able to back and search to see what day they started walking, first time they flew, etc. Any milestones in their lives. Also I can know what day I went to that conference, special event, etc.
- Ministry Resource – I follow a lot of people on twitter. They each have different jobs but they give me ideas that I can use in ministry. See list below to start following some of my followers.
- Ministry Tool – A lot of people in my ministry use twitter. It’s just another way to connect to people if I can’t get a hold of them.

What I've been up to
I haven’t blogged in a while because I’ve been working on some other blogs. We started 2 blogs for Student ministry, one for parents and one for volunteers. I also decided to start one for our worship/tech arts team. So once I am finished with those, it’ll be on again. As much “on” as I’ve ever done before at least. Everyone makes fun of me for mostly twittering instead of blogging. I can’t help it, twitter is so simple.
Daddy's Arms
So I was letting the kids play the other day @ the Truth Building and all of a sudden Tyra starts screaming and comes running towards me. I lift her up and hold her to tight to my chest and she immediately stops crying.
I just thought it’s funny how that happens. Whether small or large “boo-boo’s” the pain lessens when my kids are in my arms.
Just reminded me of how our Father is with us. When we hurt he wants to hold us and let us know He is there and that he cares and hurts with us.
When’s the last time you let your Heavenly Father hold you?
