i changed some of our language as a church body when i arrived on scene. one was that everyone was labeled a “youth minister.” language is powerful and shapes & this idea is in part embracing ‘the priesthood of all believers.’ there was some resistance at first but we have a better team than ever, said bye to some people. mostly though, people know their role just by the name.
